DIAS Assistant Professor James Rogers becomes associate at number one university affiliated think tank in the world

Assistant Professor James Rogers has become an associate at The London School of Economics and Political Science’s foreign policy think tank (LSE IDEAS) which received the top ranking by the Global Go To Think Tank Index in 2019.

James’ Associateship at LSE IDEAS will see him working with the Cybersecurity Programme led by Professor Christopher Coker and Professor Hugh Sandeman. James’ time at IDEAS will facilitate and strengthen his continued policy engagement and his role as a Special Advisor to the UK Parliament’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Drones. James will also be working closely with the United Nations during this period, submitting written evidence and holding joint workshops. Furthermore, he will be conducting interviews and archival research at LSE and in London for his forthcoming book titled ‘Death from Above: The Evolution of Drone Warfare’ (with Kennedy, C.). This book is under contract and forthcoming with Manchester University Press (2021).

LSE IDEAS was founded in 2008 and has since then consolidated its position as one of the top university affiliated think tanks in the world, according to The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program Global Go To Think Tank Index Report. TTCSP is the world’s largest database of think tanks comprised of over 8000 institutions in 177 countries.
